To celebrate the completion of its 17th year and the
beginning of its 18th year, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited organized a
nationwide blood donation campaign across all its regional offices.
The blood donation drive was successfully carried out on
Kartik 27, 2081, with participation from all regional offices, including the
central office. A total of 393 pints of blood were collected during the program
held at various locations. The initiative was launched in the Butwal region by
Mr. Bhim Prasad Tulachan, Director of the bank, and by Deputy CEO Mr. Binay
Dahal, who symbolically handed over a blood bag to Ms. Nisha Bhandari from
Himal Hospital’s Blood Bank Department.
The bank also honored several individuals for their repeated
contributions to blood donation, recognizing them as KSBBL Icons. These include
Mr. Dipendra Subedi, Chief Business Officer; Mr. Dandapani Bhattarai, Legal
Head; Mr. Nitesh Aryal, Head of Risk Assets; Mr. Rajesh Kuikel, Branch Manager;
Mr. Yagyamurti Luital; and Mr. Yam Bahadur Shrestha, Driver, for encouraging
staff and donating blood multiple times.
The blood donation program took place at several branches
across the country, including the Itahari branch in Koshi Province, Bardibas
branch in Madhesh Province, Khurkhure branch in Narayanghat Province, New Road
Pokhara branch in the Pokhara Region, Butwal branch in Butwal Region, and Nepalgunj
branch in the Western Region.
In addition to the blood donation drive, the bank also
organized a week-long nationwide cleanliness campaign, a dustbin handover
program, the Inter-Bank Futsal Cup Season 4, and a Financial Literacy Walkathon
as part of its 18th anniversary celebrations.
