Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), distributed fiber blankets to underprivileged families in Ward No. 5 of Lahan Municipality, targeting the poor, Dalit, and extremely disadvantaged communities during this winter season.
The distribution ceremony was led by Shyam Chwai, the Province Head of Madhesh Province, who handed over the blankets to the local residents of Ward No. 5, Lahan Municipality. Mr. Chawai expressed confidence that the initiative, carried out under the bank’s CSR program, would provide significant support to the local community.
Local residents expressed their gratitude and joy for receiving the blankets, acknowledging the bank's humanitarian effort. They thanked Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank for its contribution, which was a welcome relief during the cold season.
The event was attended by bank staff, the ward chairperson of Lahan Municipality Ward No. 5, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other local representatives.
Looking ahead, the bank has committed to continuing such initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and will ensure that similar programs are carried out in the future to benefit local communities.
