    Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has organized and completed financial literacy program on 18th March, 2024 on the occasion of Global Money Week 2024. Global Money Week is a global awareness-raising campaign on th importance of ensuring that young people, from an warly age, are financially aware, and are gradually acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors necesssary to make sound financial decisions and ultimately achieve financial well-being and financial resilience.

    Under the Global Money Week 2024 organized by Nepal Rastra Bank, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has completed a financial literacy program targeting small scale, entrepreneurs and farmers producing cash crops in Haldibari Rural Municipality, Jhapa. Mr. Mohan Dutt Khanal, Head of the Koshi region of the bank, chaired the event, and Mr. Rabindra Prasad Lingden, Chairman of Haldibari rural municipality, was the Chief Guest. Mr. Modnath Guragai, the Head of the Bank's Budhabare branch, made a presentation in the event, which was attended by the Vice- President of the Rural municipality, the Chief Administrative Officer, and the ward presidents of various wards. A presentation was made on how capital can be created by collecting small scattered amounts, daily life can be made easier due to the development of money, and various digital transactions and their opportunities and challenges. More than 100 dignitaries participated in the literacy program.
