Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, distributed educational and essential materials to economically disadvantaged students studying at Kuleshwor Secondary School, Kuleshwor, through its Kuleshwor Branch.
The materials were handed over to the students by Kedar Nath Sharma, Kathmandu Region Head of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited. With the objective of supporting students in their education and making their learning experience more convenient, the Bank provided stationery and educational materials, school bags, school uniforms, house uniforms, shoes, and other essential items.
Speaking at the program, Bhanubhakta Bista, Principal of Shree Kuleshwor Secondary School, expressed his gratitude to the Bank for extending support to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. He stated that such assistance would not only encourage students in their studies but also contribute positively to the overall educational environment of the school.
Handing over the materials, Kedar Nath Sharma, Head of Kathmandu Region, said that the Bank has been continuously supporting the education sector under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. He expressed confidence that the support provided to students who are unable to afford essential educational materials due to financial constraints would make a meaningful contribution to their education and learning.
The Bank stated that it will continue its CSR initiatives in the coming days based on identified needs and priorities, with a focus on contributing to education and community development.
