Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has handed over a cooler and Braille paper to Shree Durga Secondary School, located in Ward No. 9, Birtamod Municipality, Jhapa.
The materials were formally handed over by Mr. Khim Lal Bhusal, Head of Koshi Province of the Bank to Mr. Laxman Shivakoti, Principal of Shree Durga Secondary School.
The Bank extended this support to meet the needs of the school's hostel for visually impaired students. The cooler is expected to provide a more comfortable living and learning environment by helping regulate indoor temperatures during the hot summer months, while the Braille paper which is an essential educational resource for visually impaired students-will support their academic activities and contribute to making the learning process more effective and of higher quality.
Expressing his gratitude, Principal Mr. Laxman Shivakoti thanked Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank for its generous support and stated that the assistance would make a meaningful contribution to both the education of visually impaired students and the effective management of the hostel. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Khim Lal Bhusal, Koshi Province Head of the Bank, said that Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has been implementing various CSR initiatives aimed at promoting education and addressing the needs of local communities. He reaffirmed the Bank's commitment to continuing such social initiatives in the future.
