    As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited, through its Biratnagar Branch Office, has handed over 10 donor beds to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Morang District.

    The donor beds were provided to support blood donation programs aimed at ensuring the effective operation of blood transfusion services and timely availability of blood for poor and underprivileged patients in need.

    The donor beds were formally handed over by Mr. Khimlal Bhusal, Province Head of Koshi Province at Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, to Mr. Sukhdev Prasad Mandal, Chairperson of Nepal Red Cross Society, Morang District.

    Expressing gratitude to the bank, Chairperson Mandal stated that the support would significantly contribute to the smooth operation of blood donation programs and help provide a comfortable environment for blood donors.

    Speaking at the program, Province Head Mr. Bhusal said that the bank feels proud to support blood donation and blood transfusion services, which are directly linked to saving human lives. He further informed that under its CSR initiatives, the bank has continuously been supporting sectors such as education, health, and social services.

    As donor beds are essential for conducting blood collection services, the support received from the bank is expected to make service delivery more effective and convenient.

    The program was attended by bank employees, officials, and members of the Nepal Red Cross Society. The bank also expressed its commitment to continue prioritizing humanitarian and social initiatives in the future.
