Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has handed over a water tank and an electric water purifier to Tripureshwor Secondary School, located in Dhodhekhali, Ward No. 1, Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet.

The materials were formally handed over by Mr. Mahendra Khanal, Western Regional Head of the Bank, to Mr. Dinesh Khatri, Ward Chairperson of Birendranagar Municipality–1.

Although the school had installed a deep boring system to supply drinking water, it lacked a water purification facility, making it difficult for students and teachers to access clean and safe drinking water. Recognizing this need, the Bank provided a water tank and an electric water purifier to help ensure a reliable supply of purified drinking water for the school community. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ward Chairperson Mr. Dinesh Khatri expressed his sincere appreciation to the Bank for recognizing the school's needs and extending timely support.

Mr. Ishwor Bhakta Sunar, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, stated that the water tank and electric water purifier provided by the Bank would enable students and teachers to access clean, safe, and high-quality drinking water, thereby contributing significantly to a healthier and more conducive learning environment. Similarly, Mr. Mahendra Khanal, Western Region Head of the Bank, expressed his satisfaction in being able to contribute to community development through meaningful CSR initiatives that address local needs and support the creation of a better society.

The handover program was attended by employees of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, the Ward Chairperson of Birendranagar Municipality–1, the Chairperson of the School Management Committee, the Principal, teachers, and students of Tripureshwor Secondary School.

The Bank also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such education- and community-focused CSR initiatives in the future through coordination and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
