Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Ltd., under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, has provided scholarships to students from underprivileged and economically disadvantaged backgrounds studying at Bhanu Secondary School (Durbar High School), located in Rani Pokhari. The scholarship was awarded on the occasion of the school’s 172nd Foundation Day and Parents’ Day.
Considering the fact that more than 1,100 students are currently enrolled at the school and that many face financial difficulties affecting their education, the Bank extended scholarship support to deserving students to help ensure continuity in their studies. The scholarship amount was formally handed over by Ms. Parma Dhungel, Head of the Marketing Department of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, to the school’s Principal, Ms. Sharda Kumari Poudel.

She highlighted that such support not only boosts students’ morale but also plays a vital role in helping them achieve a bright academic future.
Similarly, addressing the event, Ms. Dhungel stated that Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has been continuously contributing to the education sector as part of its social responsibility initiatives and reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to continuing such social programs in the coming days.
