As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited, through its Khurkhure Branch Office, has distributed warm clothing to Shree Bhavishya Nirman Basic School located in Rapti Municipality–12.
The warm clothing was distributed to 70 students from Grades 1 to 3, belonging to underprivileged and marginalized Chepang community children from remote areas, considering the cold weather. The distribution was carried out by Narayangadh Regional Head of the Bank, Mr. Surendra Bhandari.
Speaking at the program, Regional Head Mr. Bhandari expressed his confidence that the distribution of warm clothing would have a positive impact on the health and educational activities of the children. Ward Chairperson of Rapti Municipality–12, Mr. Arjun Praja, who attended the program as the Chief Guest, praised the Bank for its continuous support to the community under its social responsibility initiatives and extended his gratitude to the entire Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank family.
At the conclusion of the program, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, Mr. Jeet Bahadur Praja, highly appreciated the Bank’s concern for the school and the support provided to the students. He expressed his sincere thanks to Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and conveyed his best wishes for the Bank’s continued progress and success.
The program witnessed the notable presence of School Management Committee Chairperson Mr. Jeet Bahadur Praja, Chief Guest and Ward Chairperson Mr. Arjun Praja, bank staff, Rapti Municipality Sub-Engineer Mr. Vijay Paudel, Ward Member Mr. Ashok Jimba, and local parents.
The Bank has reiterated its commitment to continue conducting similar social responsibility programs in the future in coordination and collaboration with stakeholders.
