Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has provided essential snakebite treatment equipment to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Damak Municipality–7, through its Damak Branch. The Bank handed over a cardiac monitor and suction machine, which are essential medical devices that can provide critical support in the treatment of snakebite cases and other emergency medical conditions.
The equipment was handed over by Khimlal Bhusal, Koshi Province Head of the Bank, to Goma Devi Prasai Budhathoki, Chairperson of the Nepal Red Cross Society. Expressing her gratitude to the Bank, Chairperson Budhathoki said that the support would be highly useful in monitoring the health condition of patients in critical situations caused by snakebites. She also highlighted the importance of the suction machine in providing necessary assistance during respiratory emergencies and other critical medical conditions.
Speaking at the program, Khimlal Bhusal, Koshi Province Head, said that healthcare is a fundamental need of every community and that the Bank is proud to contribute toward making locally available healthcare resources more effective. He further stated that the Bank has been continuously supporting the sectors of education, healthcare, and social services as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
The Bank believes that the support will help facilitate more accessible and effective healthcare services for people in the Damak area, particularly during medical emergencies when such equipment is urgently required.
The program was attended by Bank employees, officials, and members of the Nepal Red Cross Society. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing and prioritizing humanitarian and socially responsible initiatives in the coming days, contributing to the well-being and development of the communities it serves.
