Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited
(KSBBL), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has
provided tables and chairs to Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 30 to help the
office resume its services.
During the recent Gen-Z
anti-corruption movement, the office had lost all its furniture and equipment
to fire. To assist in restoring operations, Ms. Laxmi Dhakal, Branch Manager of
KSBBL’s Dhungepatan Branch, handed over the furniture to Ward Chairperson Mr.
Durga Prasad Subedi. Expressing his gratitude during the handover, Mr. Subedi
thanked the Bank for its timely support and called on other stakeholders to
come forward in contributing to the reconstruction efforts.
In a similar move, KSBBL has also
handed over essential computers and printers to the District Police Office,
Kaski, which was completely destroyed in the movement. The critical equipment
was handed over by Mr. Shiv Kumar Dhakal, Regional Head of KSBBL Pokhara, to
DSP Mr. Hari Bahadur Basnet, enabling the office to resume its operations
despite severe damage.
KSBBL has further initiated
support programs to provide essential equipment, reconstruction, and
maintenance assistance to various ward offices, land revenue offices, and
police offices affected during the unrest.
